There are many gnotables within Wisconsin gnomelore, individual gnomes with their own associated stories and legends. There is a gnome king, and a gnome queen. There are gnotable heroes, like the well-endowed Chekaubaewiss, the undefeatable Pawisa'suk brothers, the extortionist twelve little women, the sausage-maker Fritzie, the Ohdoh Chief Nassahegon, and the Heroka Chief He-Who-Wears-Human-Heads-As-Earrings.
